Day 5 – Super Chilled Arm Workout

Something sweet and soothing for you today, but don’t be fooled by the relaxed atmosphere of this arm workout inspiration video, these moves will have you pumping some hoop iron.

Hooping is a fabulous way to sculpt your upper body, it is not just about the waist. The one thing I have noticed the most in fact, on all the hoopers here in Tokyo, is how quickly and beautifully their arms change form once they start hooping.

Be gone chicken wings, granny arms or kimono arms as they call them here in Japan.

Naturally some of these tricks take a bit of practice. I cried tears of frustration over the twin hoop play in the beginning. Once you find your flow and your muscles whip themselves into shape you will find it so very blissful and rewarding.

ps Masao, Kana and I had a gorgeous day on Yuigahama Beach in Kamakura and we plan to be there again this Saturday from 2pm for a sunset hoop. If you are around come and hoop boot camp it up with us!

Action of the day: Flex your muscles in the mirror, really pump them up there, impress yourself, might even get a wolf whistle if you are lucky. Now go and work them good with a quick hoop practice, run back to the mirror and admire your contours. Feel free to grab magic markers and give yourself some rough and tough tattoos just for added impact.
